Copy of Letter sent to Association Members November 2008

Firstly, may we thank you all for your generosity in offering to help the poor, suffering souls in Purgatory.  God will certainly reward you 100 fold.  When we started this Association a year ago, we had grand ideas that thousands of helpers would join us and we would empty Purgatory!  Well, not quite.  After a year we have a few more than 150 from a dozen or so countries.  A humble beginning, but if only one person joined to help the holy souls, that would indeed be a blessing fot them.  We are now able to offer the holy souls 150+ blessings every week.

So, as a helper, perhaps each of you might be able to direct a dozen or so family and/or friends to the website over the next year and be an ambassador for these suffering souls. Imagine the extra prayers and sacrifices!!  Just a thought.

Also, we are having Masses said on the 2nd of each month.  These will continue up to January 2009 and we are hoping a few generous helpers might be able to donate a little for the Masses to be continued.  That being said, we will ensure Masses are continued every month.  It is hoped that in a few years time, when we have many members, we will be able to have a Mass said every day for the poor souls.

If you or your friends would like to help in this regard, email us at:  enquiries@holysouls.com.au and we will forward you the details of how it can be done.

Finally, in this month of November, dedicated to the Holy Souls, may I recommend two practices.  Firstly, after the O my Jesus, at the end of each decade of the Rosary, add the prayer, Eternal rest grant unto them.....  and secondly, as a family, pray the Litany for the Holy Souls (on our website).

May God bless you all

In Jesus and Mary

Seven Sorrows of Our Lady: 15 September, 2008

We now number 145 helpers spanning 15 countries; our youngest helper is a very enthusiastic five year old and our oldest helper is in his eighties.  Thank you so much to all the helpers of the Holy Souls.  Only God knows your efforts and He will reward you one hundredfold.  Mass is still being said for all Association members' families and friends on the second of each month.  If you feel you might like to donate some money for Masses, please email us on admin@holysouls.com.au and we will send you the necessary details.  We stress however, there is no expectation whatsoever that any member of the Association donates money.  Any donations for Masses are always kept anonymous.

If you have already enrolled, thank you, and keep up your wonderful work.  Spread the news of the Association to your family and friends, direct them to the website and encourage them to join.  If you have not yet joined and are only looking at our website, keep browsing, and may God grant you the generosity to help the Poor suffering souls in Purgatory.

Feast of the Holy Souls: November 2, 2007

Humble Beginnings

We are officially launching this Association of the the Seven Helpers of the Holy Souls on the Solemnity of the Holy Souls. The patron of this Association is Our Blessed Mother, who is not only the Queen of Heaven and Earth, but the Queen also of the souls in Purgatory. This Association starts with 81 members in 16 groups, 9 of which have been completed. It is the small seed which, if it be God's holy will, will grow into an Association of thousands of generous souls throughout the world dedicating one day of their week to alleiviate the sufferings of those poor souls in Purgatory and bringing forward their glorious entry into Paradise.

Masses for the Holy Souls

Thank you to a kind member who has donated a sum of money which has enabled us to have a Mass said for the Holy Souls on the second of each month; the stipends for these Masses have been paid until January 2009 and the Masses are being said by a priest in South Africa.

Holy Pictures

We have two beautiful holy pictures relating to the Holy Souls on our website. We would like that each page have different pictures that inspire devotion. If you have any such beautiful pictures, perhaps you could email them to us and we might be able to incorporate them onto this website.

Nativity of Our Lady, September 8, 2007

This apostolate was to be launched in September, but this website is still being prepared, and should be completed soon. We are indebted to Jason, from Jaydean Business Services in establishing this website. He has been very generous with his time and has done much more than we expected. As you can see, the website is very professionally designed and inspires one to devotion. May God bless and reward Jason for his wonderful assistance.
